Here are some essential considerations to bear in mind regarding what not to wear during your session:

  • Personal Grooming: It is advisable to avoid attending the session with unkempt nails, a mouth stained from candy or food, disheveled hair, or garments marred by lint. Such details will inevitably manifest in the final photographs.
  • For Parents with Young Children: If you have a young child in diapers, it is recommended to utilize a diaper cover. This precaution ensures that the diaper does not make an appearance in the photos, especially during seated or specific poses.
  • Pattern Selection: While incorporating some patterns into your attire is acceptable, an excess of patterns can be overwhelming and divert attention in the final images. Strive for a harmonious and coordinated appearance.
  • Coordinated Outfits: In the case of family photos, consider outfits that complement each other. It is advisable to steer clear of clothing with vivid, neon, or overly saturated colors and bold logos, as these elements can prove distracting and detract from the focus on your family's connections and individual personalities.
  • Avoid Tiny Lines or Grids: Clothing featuring minuscule lines or grids can lead to a moiré effect in photos. Thus, it is prudent to avoid such patterns.
  • Comfort Matters: Remember that your session will encompass a range of activities, including sitting, standing, and engaging in enjoyable interactions with one another. Select outfits that prioritize comfort, enabling you to move naturally and with ease.
